Welcome to My Web Site

Writing and painting are two of my favorite things to do, and have been a part of who I am. I write to express my thoughts, feelings, beliefs and hopes. I hope to convey a meaningful message to others. I paint for the pure joy of creating something unique and beautiful. Both of these talents are gifts from God, and I am thankful for them.

My book How I Got By, A Family Saga shares the story of a young woman who returnshome after a 13 year absence. Once there she discovers her famiies history, and the bonds that held them together and got them through the struggles of life. I believe the story is about all people, and everyone's family, it is a story about the Core Essentials of Life, Faith, Trust, Forgiveness and Love.

I hope you'll have the opportunity to read How I Got By and enjoy it as much as I did writing it. I do presentations to schools, organizations and small groups based on the history in my book, the Underground Railroad. Check out the Guest Speaking page of the website to find out more.
